            Supporting Report

The popularity of health reforms implemented by Obama’s influence has been overwhelming hence elaborating that Americans support this reforms. According to Reuters Survey, 44% of Americans have supported the reforms on Obama care as implemented by the congress (Business Insurance n.p). This support is primarily because Obamacare allows for every America to access healthcare by providing governmental administered health insurance. I approve that Obama provides a more applicable and effective solution to issues of medical reforms. The development of insurance marketplace has been considered effective (Obamacare Facts n.p). This is because it educates the public on insurance prices of packages they seek to purchase and conducting a comparative health plan to determine the best plan.

The disadvantages of this market exchange are minimal compared to the advantages. Many Americans believe that people without insurance should be able to access health care through assistance of the government. Obama care has been effective in guaranteeing people that insurance companies will not be able to drop their coverage in instances of terminal illness (Obamacare Facts). This reform ensures American citizens are supported by the government in terms of healthcare through developing a government-administered insurance entity that will strongly compete with the privatized counterparts.

            Opposing Report

Barack Obama has contributed significantly to the reformation process of healthcare. However, based from the survey, it is clear that more than 50% of the American population does not support his reforms in this sector. This is because of the inefficiency of Obama care. One of the factors that have been considered is the source of money that will be directed towards ensuring Americans receive quality healthcare. The likely source is taxes from high-income earners, which will drastically affect the employer and individual mandate. In terms of healthcare insurance Market, Americans do not fully support it. This is because it promotes the shift in burden to smaller healthcare insurance companies. This is exemplified by the support shown to this consequence. 75% of Americans believe that small health care providers are greatly affected by the tax incentives

This is primarily because the younger population also known as the millennial generation supported Barack Obama (Pew Research Center for the People and the Press). The comparison that was clearly indicated was between generation x and Baby bloomer generation. The polls shed light on the fact that the millennials categorized between 18-30 support democratic ideals with 50 % of this population being supportive of democratic political candidates. Despite the support received by democratic parties from the younger generations, it is imperative to note the slight decline in votes for Obama when comparing elections polls in 2008 and 2012 (Pew Research Center for the People and the Press). With a decline of 6% in Obama’s votes and an increase of 4% in support for Romney, it is imperative to note that these demographics are continuously changing.
